Does my GPU have to be originally from Micro Center to be eligible for trade-in?
Yes. To be eligible for our GPU Trade-in program the graphics card must have been purchased at a Micro Center. If you’re unsure if your graphics card was purchased at Micro Center, use our serial number finder or bring your device in store for a manual look up.
Does My GPU Need To Be Functional To Be Eligible For The Trade-in Program?
Yes, your GPU must be functioning in order to be eligible for trade-in. Once you gather an estimate of your graphics card, schedule an in-store visit for your product evaluation. We will provide you with a final estimate once the evaluation is complete. Any future estimates are subject to change if the initial estimate for trade-in is denied by the customer.
How Much In-Store Credit Will I Get For My GPU?
The value of your graphics card varies. Once you’ve located your GPU using our look-up tool, we’ll provide you with an estimate for your device. The estimate provided shows a daily value. The value of your product may not be the same in the days to follow. Estimates are subject to change based on a final evaluation of your product.

Micro Center GPU Trade-in Program Terms & Conditions
By participating in the Micro Center Trade-in Program (the “Trade-in Program”), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions described below (the “Terms and Conditions”) as well as other applicable Micro Center website terms and conditions which are incorporated herein. It is your responsibility, prior to participating in the Trade-in Program, to read these Terms and Conditions carefully to understand your rights and obligations. If you are dissatisfied with any of these Terms and Conditions or any other applicable Micro Center website terms and conditions, you agree that your sole and exclusive remedy is to not participate in the Trade-in Program.
General Terms
- The Trade-in Program is limited to the trade-in of an item that was purchased from Micro Center (the “Item”).
- Click on the trade-in value lookup button on eligible items in your order history, or use the lookup tool to search by serial number. This will generate an estimated trade-in value for your Item, then schedule a trade-in consultation at your local Micro Center.
- The trade-in value generated by the Trade-in Value Lookup Tool is only an estimate, which is subject to change following the presentation by you of an Item to a Micro Center Service Department and the performance of a diagnostic check on the Item.
- Micro Center will pay you the trade-in value for an Item through the issuance of a Micro Center Gift Card.
Changes
Micro Center reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable Micro Center website terms and conditions at any time. Each time you wish to participate in the Trade-in Program, you should review the then-current Terms and Conditions. Micro Center may terminate the Trade-in Program at any time without notice to you.
Rights and Obligations when Participating in the Trade-in Program
- Initial Purchase of Item from Micro Center, Ownership of Item, and Authority to Sell Item. You represent and warrant to Micro Center the following with respect to the Item bearing the specifications, serial number, and model number offered for trade-in: (a) you or a representative purchased the Item from Micro Center, (b) you are the sole and rightful owner of the Item; (c) you have full authority to sell, trade-in, or otherwise dispose of the Item; (d) the Item is not counterfeit or stolen; and (e) the Item does not violate any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation. If an Item submitted for trade-in was purchased on an installment payment plan, any remaining payments owed for the Item must be paid in accordance with the terms of installment payment plan regardless of whether your Item is accepted for trade-in.
- Working Condition Upon Arrival. You agree that you are providing the Item to Micro Center in good working condition, and you shall be solely responsible for the arrival condition of the Item upon presentation of the Item to the Service Department of a Micro Center retail store.
- Deactivation of Item. You agree to deactivate all services to your Item and remove any and all codes (including, without limitation, removing user locks, and passwords) that may prevent Micro Center from having the ability to use, refurbish, recycle, resell, or dispose of such Item.
- Accuracy of Information. You agree that all information you provide about the Item for trade-in under the Trade-in Program, as well as information you have or will provide about yourself, is true, accurate, and complete.
- Trade-In Value. The trade-in value generated from our Trade-in Value Lookup Tool is only an estimated trade-in value of your Item and is subject to change. Micro Center cannot confirm the trade-in value of an Item until the Item is presented to a Micro Center Service Department and our Service Technicians run a diagnostic check on the Item. Upon completion of the diagnostic check, Micro Center will provide you with a trade-in value quote on your Item. Upon receiving the trade-in value quote, you may elect to participate in the Trade-in Program or to retain your Item. You agree that all determinations made by Micro Center with respect to trade-in value assigned to an Item after its inspection are made in Micro Center’s sole discretion, will be accepted as final by you, and are not subject to negotiation. You further agree that Micro Center may, in its sole discretion, reject the trade-in of any Item for any reason or limit the quantity of the Items that you may trade-in under the Trade-in Program.
- Transfer of Ownership. You hereby agree to transfer all right and title in the Item to Micro Center in exchange for the payment of the trade-in value quoted to you following the diagnostic check performed on the Item.
- Loss or Damage to the Item and its Contents and Removal of Personal Data. You agree that Micro Center and all of its parent, subsidiary, and sister companies and affiliates, will not be responsible under any circumstances for any loss or damage to the Item. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to remove all personal data (e.g., files, photos, videos, and music) from an Item. You agree that Micro Center and all its parent, subsidiary, and sister companies and affiliates, are not responsible for the loss or destruction of the hardware, software, files, or media containing any personal data left on or in the Item. You understand that you will not be able to recover any data or files stored within the Item after presenting the Item to a Micro Center Service Department.
- Final Transaction. You acknowledge and agree that the trade-in transaction is final and cannot be cancelled or rescinded by you after you accept payment of the trade-in value quoted to you.
- Release of Liability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release Micro Center and all of its parent, subsidiary, and sister companies and affiliates, from and against any liability arising out or related to the transfer of the Item, including but not limited to, any liability related to the deletion or non-deletion of any data or files from the Item, the evaluation and assessment of the Item (and the corresponding trade-in valuation) made by Micro Center, and the non-availability of the Item after it has been presented to a Micro Center Service Department.
- Reporting and Sharing Information. Micro Center may be required to share personal information in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law. You acknowledge that Micro Center reports information regarding the trade-in transaction, including your personally identifiable information, to law enforcement and government agencies where required by law and may engage in voluntary reporting of certain information to such entities. Applicable Law
By participating in this Trade-in Program, you agree that applicable federal law, and the laws of the state of Ohio, without regard to the principles of conflicts of laws, will govern these Terms and Conditions. The Trade-in Program will be administered in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
